Introduction:
My journey into the world of mosaic art began serendipitously in 2018 when I came across a picture of a mosaic online. Captivated by its beauty, I immersed myself in understanding this intricate art form. Determined to bring this passion to life, I sourced specialized tools from the U.S. and began experimenting with materials at hand, including broken ceramic plates from my home, which became a foundation for my early works. Over time, my dedication and distinctive style attracted commissioned projects, with many of my pieces now residing in private collections, predominantly in the U.S.
Since then, my artistic journey has been a continuous exploration of nature’s beauty and mystery, captured in the interplay of stained glass and ceramic. Driven by the inspiration I find in organic forms, vibrant landscapes, and the delicate intricacies of plants and animals, my work seeks to bring a sense of nature’s presence into every piece.
Stained glass, especially in its iridescent form, has become central to my art. I am drawn to the way it catches light and changes hues, creating a sense of movement and life within the mosaic. The shimmering, magical quality of iridescent glass allows my work to reflect the ever-changing colours of nature, offering viewers an immersive experience that shifts depending on light and perspective.
Each mosaic I create is a personal dialogue with the natural world—a celebration of its resilience, diversity, and beauty. Through the texture of ceramic and the brilliance of stained glass, I aim to evoke the wonder of nature and provide a moment of tranquillity in the chaos of everyday life.
Highlights of my career have been the completion of numerous commissioned projects, as well as selling Artworks to private collectors, predominantly in the U.S.
