Artist: Angela Rimmer

Angela has a unique connection with Goose Green as her family was born and raised there.

Originally from Sale, Angela is a Devon-based artist inspired by the mystery, energy and beauty of the natural world. Using acrylic, ink, gold (gede) leaf - and even coffee - she creates bold, textured paintings that shimmer with light and invite reflection. Spatulas, rollers and fingers, allow her to push beyond the brush and explore layers of luminosity and movement. This process creates bold, dynamic surfaces that respond to their environment, shimmering with iridescent light as if alive with elemental rhythms.

After twenty-five years as a marketing consultant, Angela shifted from shaping brands to creating art of her own and she is now living her dream as an artist. Her work continues to evolve through experimentation, reflection and immersion in the local landscapes.  Her practice is about making the invisible visible - transforming the unspoken language of nature into a tactile, luminous experience.  She uses her understanding of colour psychology and the power of emotive storytelling to help shape her creative process, helping her to connect with viewers on a visual and emotional level .
