Part of a series of 3, Reverie 1 is a celebration of expressive brushstrokes. Layers of deep
greens form a shadowy, almost forest-like ground out of which vivid blue and violet blooms
emerge - lush, immersive and quietly dreamlike.
Hints of pink, gold and turquoise shimmer through the blues, creating a sense of movement
and inner light, as if the blossoms are glowing softly against the darker background – tranquil
yet mysterious, intimate yet expansive.
Angela Rimmer is a light-loving abstract artist based in Devon, her work channels the
