Moel y Gest by Artist Matthew Dean

Moel y Gest - This is another watercolour produced from a small drawing I took from a caravan near the foot of this hill near Porthmadog in Wales. It is highly abstract but all the elements in the image are derived from my observations of the mountain and the sky above. 

I am a new artist - I have drawn and painted my entire life, but I now want to share my art with a wider audience. I paint landscapes and try to use my imagination to come up with my own unique perspective. I hope to challenge my viewer but I want them to genuinely enjoy looking at my images
