'Lush 1' by Victoria Ash

Initially this piece started with string drenched in paint which was dragged across the surface. This gave a beautifully organic tree image from which I began to grow the garden. I have used sunflowers because the yellow of them looks stunning set against purple, as well as daisies which 'pop' out from the scene in white which adds a relief from all the vibrant colours. Again, birds have been added to the scene which seems to add a subtle narrative.
