Kamadhenu (In Sanskrit कामधेनु, also known as Surabhi (सुरभि), is a divine bovine-goddess described in Hinduism as the mother of all cows. She is a miraculous cow of plenty who provides her owner whatever they desire and is often portrayed as the mother of other cattle.
Vasishtha (which translates as 'most excellent', portrayed with her) is one of the Saptarishis, the seven seers of ancient India. Vasishtha was Lord Rama's guru, the Rajpurohit of Ikshwakua and was the keeper of the two divine cows, Kamadhenu and Nandini
