This painting celebrates colour, and boy do I love colour! As with all my pieces, collage was used first before I painted on top using acrylic paint. You'll find recognisable lupins, dandelions and daisies alongside imagined and abstract florals all set against a beautiful pastel blue sky. All my paintings are painted intuitively, meaning I work it out on the go so to speak. So this one was particularly challenging as balancing such vibrant, loud colour with pattern isn't easy!
