This beautiful creature has been the subject of other pictures!
This time, as I was busy painting away at my easel in an artist's studio during the Hebden Bridge Arts Festival that year ,I noticed the sun streaming in past a beautifully mounted barn owl in the studio out of the corner of my eye.
All of a sudden I felt in my imagination that that bird was actually flying in ....hence the 'collage' easel and even rather surrealist ideas leading me to paint tree branches becoming part of the interior in my picture as my mind takes flight!
