Collection: Senem Peace

Senem Peace is a commercial photographer based in Wilmslow, Cheshire. Besides her profession as a photographer, she developed herself in art and started painting professionally since 2020. Senem has a bachelor degree in Archeology and Art History, and a master degree in War History and Strategy. On her 20’s she worked on archaeological sites, specialising in the Prehistoric and Neolithic Age. "Those years shaped my perspective about life, raised many questions for understanding of human nature and our core" says Senem and adds that; "Art has ingrained to our existence, for more than ten thousands of years, regardless to race, geography or cultural background. This reality proves us that we are actually 'natural' in art. And that is exactly why it naturally connects us without needing an explanation."
Senem also has a long time career in Media as a photographer and magazine editor.

As an artist, Senem creates distinctive and captivating collections of abstract paintings. She prefers experimenting and exploring new ideas and not stuck with a singular aspect, but the vivid dynamism and movement, combined with bold colours and layers, serve as her main artistic signatures. Senem's original paintings explore a delicate balance between destruction and rebirth, drawing inspiration from collective stories of life.

With her works, she explores the shifting energies. Embrace complexity and multiplicity, inviting viewers to also search their own meaning within the layers.

Working primarily with acrylic on large canvases, Senem integrates oil, mixed media, and textured materials to build rich, and layered surfaces. Cool, calming tones meet bold contrasts and vivid colour, sometimes accented with metallic and neon shades.

Senem introduces her works to art lovers by organising local solo pop-up art shows. She also exhibited at Holy Art Fair - London and had a solo exhibition in Gallery Marquess - Mayfair, London, in 2023.
