Janet Rawsthorn

I am a contemporary artist inspired by urban landscapes and everyday scenes, working mainly in acrylic with occasional collage elements to add texture and atmosphere.

Although I trained at art college, my style has evolved naturally over the years through experimentation and observation. I also enjoy working in watercolour, pastel and oil, choosing the medium that best suits the subject and mood of each piece.

My work aims to capture character, light and a sense of place in familiar environments.
