My work predominantly focuses on the observation of the human form.l work directly life rather than photos as I enjoy the intimate encounter and the direct immediacy.

I am fascinated by what we reveal and conceal of ourselves and the tension lying between the two and I aim to capture the sitter whilst never betraying their identity. I do attempt to hide the drawing process, remnants of discarded lines or residual marks may remain.
