Ged Buckley

I am a Salford based artist. Ever since I was very young I have had a passion for drawing, painting, making marks. Since leaving school I attended South Trafford College and then Salford Tech but didn't take it any further than that, preferring to work at a variety of different jobs to support my art habit. 

  My work mainly depicts urban landscape, street scenes and industrial subjects. Another keen interest is depicting the human figure and I regularly attend a local life drawing class. 
  I like to work in a variety of different media including oils, acrylic, pastel, pen and watercolour, often mixing them together in one work. 
  I have exhibited with Salford Art Club, Eccles Community Art Gallery, Smith's Restaurant Eccles and several joint shows around the northwest. 
  It is a great pleasure to be joining the team at Goose Green Art Gallery.
