Collection: Diane Winterhalder
Diane began painting as a recovery from illness as painting was suggested as a form of physiotherapy. Painting soon became her passion.
Diane is based in Lymm, Cheshire but lived and painted in Ireland from 2009 to 2020. During her time in Ireland Diane studied Art and Design at Drogheda Institute of Further Education where she gained a BTec distinction.
Diane was an active member of an artists cooperative and exhibited at various galleries in Ireland.
On returning to the UK Diane joined the Altrincham Society of Artists and Hale Barns art group.
Diane works mainly in oils and acrylics and loves landscapes, seascapes and is influenced by the works of Joan Eardley.
