Collection: Claire Donaldson

Claire Donaldson's artistic style is vibrant, expressive, and rich in colour. She draws inspiration from movement, natural forms, and self-expression, bringing her pieces to life with texture and depth. By experimenting with paint application and exploring contrasts, Claire creates art that captures attention and evokes emotion.

Claire holds a BA (Hons) in Dance and Culture from Surrey University, and she has been creating visual art since her A-Level studies. Over the years, she has honed her distinctive style while working in the arts, where she taught contemporary dance and art in schools, the criminal justice sector, and various community settings. Claire has exhibited and sold her art in various locations in the Northwest of England.  Recently, Claire has shifted her focus toward holistic therapies. You can learn more about her work and journey at shewaliving.co.uk/about.

Claire’s art is shaped by her spiritual insights and interests. This connection is evident in her choice of colours, subjects, and designs, as she often incorporates symbolic elements like flowers and animals. She delves into the relationship between colour, meaning, and the chakra system, giving her work layers of significance.
