Alison Burrows

Alison Burrows is a English artist living in the North West of England.  From a family of artists, she has a BA in Visual Arts and also a MA in Contemporary Fine Art from the University of Salford in Greater Manchester. Since graduating in 2010 she has exhibited in and co-curated several local joint and solo shows, facilitated children’s and adult art workshops, as well as volunteered at a non-profit gallery and run non-profit community art groups, whilst also continuing her painting practice.  Alison paints with watercolours and acrylics, and occasionally with oils. Her subject matter ranges from figurative and landscape to abstract. Life drawing and portrait painting are her passions.
